This year we expanded Nuit Blanche North with a number of different activities throughout the weekend. We were thrilled to have Governor General, Juno winner and recent order of Canada recipient, composer R Murray Schafer join us to present his 12 part trombone piece “Music for Wilderness Lake” at both dawn and dusk, as well as a celebration of his 80th birthday featuring an original performance, art installation created by MABELLEarts, and Q&A featuring Mr. Shafer and long time collaborator Thom Sokoloski.
