A wall sculpture assemblage of canvas-printed photo fragments from Tammy McClennan’s series of Glacial Portraits. Visitors will be invited to remove a piece of the wall sculpture and take it with them, changing the landscape into a new form – photo fragments on the move. The photo pieces will have a string attached, where visitors can tie a knot, wear on their person and later hang in their home, creating a lasting connection to the landscape and event. As pieces are removed throughout the night, the wall sculpture will be altered and emptied.

PEEP is a site-specific public art installation, created as a modern interpretation of a peep show. A custom constructed wooden peep box is the stage for curated performances and art installations. The box measures 8’x8’ and 10’ tall, with windows available at a variety of heights for audiences to “peep” through and catch a surprise performance. Audience members experience a mystery performance curated from diverse artistic communities. Audiences are unaware of what performance or installation they will be experiencing until the windows of the Peep Box open and the performance begins.

An experience to unite all and allow the audience to become part of the feeling. JF Kuehnen will have an 6’x20’ canvas fully stretched and hung upright against scaffolding to give the audience an opportunity to make their mark from approximately 8pm until 11pm. After approximately 11pm, JF will take full control of canvas and create a piece that will become what he imagines Tom Thomson might have painted if he lived until the abstract expressionism movement of the 1950s.
